Operating steam for the 21st Century

Locomotive Services TOC Ltd is part a group dedicated to the preservation and operation of steam locomotives on the mainline railways of Britain.

Following our certification as a mainline passenger charter operator in 2017, we became only the third Train Operating Company in the UK certified to operate steam locomotives on the mainline.

This year our team of experienced railway professionals will operate our first public, steam hauled services on the mainline, marking the start of a new era for steam preservation in the UK.

Accessibility

We take the accessibility of our services very seriously, and we have robust procedures in place to ensure that wherever possible we are able to convey passengers with assisted travel requirements.

While the heritage rolling stock we use does mean we cannot accommodate every eventuality, our staff and the staff of our operating partners and promoters are specifically trained to aid passengers with assisted travel requirements onto our services.

Our Accessible Travel Policy (ATP) outlines in detail the steps we take to ensure passengers with assisted travel requirements are able to use our services.
